R.M. Palmer Company has been crafting seasonal chocolate novelties since 1948. Today, more than 800 dedicated employees of this family-owned and operated business design, produce, package and ship more than 500 unique products from Palmer’s headquarters in West Reading, PA – making it one of America’s largest and most innovative confectioners.
Through the years, R.M. Palmer has captured the nostalgia of the holidays with hand-decorated chocolate novelties that have transformed Easter baskets, Christmas stockings, and Valentine’s cards into fun memories. The company is the largest producer of hollow chocolate bunnies in North America. Anchored by icons like Baby Binks, R.M. Palmer has turned figureless chocolates into whimsical characters with personality. Most bows are still hand tied and most icing decorations are still made by hand – just as they were back in 1948.
Strategic licensing partnerships are also a core component of R.M. Palmer’s success. Our licensing history has included brand properties such as NASCAR, Disney, Marvel, and Duck Dynasty. Current licenses include Crayola, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group’s Yoo-Hoo, and Hallmark’s Maxine and Shoebox brands.
The product line today includes a wide assortment of chocolate confectionery treats for holidays, celebrations and everyday enjoyment, all proudly manufactured at one of our company-owned, SQF Food Safety certified production facilities in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Distribution is national and includes select international markets.
